Online Auction Fundraiser

The Hand to Heart Project’s annual dance & silent auction fundraiser, held in the spring for many years, has had a tough time lately. It was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic, and then again in spring 2021. We rescheduled it for this month, but have decided it is still not a great idea to have more than 125 people crowded into an old town hall for dancing and socializing. And who would want to do that with masks on, anyway?

Our annual in-person event has been a significant fundraiser for our program over the years. It supports our goal of providing the physical and emotional comfort of human touch and compassionate presence to people facing the challenges of cancer at no charge and in our clients’ homes. So in place of the in-person fundraising event this year, The Hand to Heart Project will be hosting an online auction.

Please check out the online auction to support The Hand to Heart Project. We are hoping this online event will help us make up for the repeated fundraiser event cancellations since the start of the pandemic. The auction features artwork, jewelry, artisan chocolates, and an assortment of other crafts, gift certificates, and services.

There could be some changes or additions, so keep the link handy. It will also allow you to register before the bidding opens, and flag items for your personal “keep-track-of” list.
