The 2018 Spring Dance & Silent Auction is in the books, and once again it was a tremendous success. The Plainfield Town Hall was rocking to the music of The Party Crashers, and the auction tables were jammed all evening with people bidding on a wide range of items. Thanks to the donations at the door, the auction and our great sponsors this year, the evening raised $7,500 for Hand to Heart. That’s the most ever for what has become a great annual event. This year’s sponsors were Stave Puzzles, Roadvision Systems, Bayada Hospice and one anonymous donor.
The Hand to Heart Project is as busy these days as it’s ever been, so the financial support of this event is important.
The committee that organized the dance and auction is made up of (pictured, from left) Nora Kells Gordon, Ilsa Pinkson Burke, Hannah Humpal, Briane Pinkson and Beth Hazlett. They did an incredible job. We’re all grateful to the committee, the sponsors, that fantastic band, and everyone who showed up for a great night.
