Earlier in May, we were selected by 100+ Women Who Care: Cheshire County to be the latest recipient of their collective donation. We are so grateful for the financial support of this group and its members, who pool hundreds of individual donations into one significant gift. We hope that this partnership allows us to reach and serve more people affected by cancer in Cheshire County, NH.
We would like to share some other news and thank some other recent program funders who are helping us provide sessions to Hand to Heart clients in the Upper Valley (and beyond).
We recently received another in a long string of generous donations from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, which this year will provide dozens of sessions to Upper Valley residents. They have helped fund our program from the beginning and their backing has allowed us to serve more people and increase the number of sessions we can provide in that region.
We also just received notification of a grant from Mascoma Bank and we thank them for their support of our program in the communities that they serve. We appreciate that they recognize the value of working with organizations to strengthen the communities that they serve together.
And our thanks to the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s Barrette Family Fund for continuing to support our program through the years, including this spring.
The Hand to Heart Project has always depended on donations large, small and in between. Every donation helps, and they have kept us going through all of our sixteen years. To all our supporters, we thank you!
