How to Help
The project is run by the nonprofit corporation NH-VT Palliative Services, and is funded almost entirely by grants and individual contributions. Donations directly support the in-home massage visits to clients and caregivers that The Hand to Heart Project provides in dozens of towns in New Hampshire and Vermont at no cost to them. Each session provides moments of peace, comfort and healing to people dealing with the physical and emotional effects of cancer. In the words of one client:
